Kate Carlson is the Content Development Editor for Winona360. Before working at Winona360, Carlson was a photojournalist at the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb, IL, where her award-winning coverage of the Northern Illinois University shootings received placement in Time Magazine and Newsweek. Carlson graduated from Winona State University in 2007, with a BA in Photojournalism and a minor in Creative Writing. During college, Carlson was a part-time photographer at the Winona Daily News and editor-in-chief of the Winonan, WSU's student newspaper.
