Winona Senior High track teams travelled to Northfield, Minn., to compete in the Carlton Interscholastic track meet
The Winona Senior High track teams travelled to Northfield, Minn., May 8 to participate in the 110th running of the Carlton Interscholastic track meet. Dating to 1900, it is the longest running high school track and field competition in the state of Minnesota. The Winona girl’s team took home fourth place in a nine team field with 79.5 points, finishing behind champion Rochester Century (149.8), Osseo (125.1) and Chaska (100.3).

The 18-piece Saint Mary’s University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo I will perform their final concert of the semester at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, in Page Theatre, located in the SMU Performance Center. The featured soloist will be trumpeter Dr. Joe Morgan of Rochester. Both groups are directed by professor of music, Dr. John Paulson.
