The Winona County Habitat for Humanity invite the community to participate in the first Women Build project for the area
In the United States alone, 12 million children, one out of every six, live in poverty. In an effort to change this startling statistic, Woman Build, a program established by Habitat for Humanity and Nationally, has called women to action. Women and men are encouraged to build homes for families in need. The program, since the first unofficial Women Build project in North Carolina, has been in existence since 1991.
