Join us at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum on Thursday, March 31, at 6pm, to hear author, pilot, photographer, and WSU professor Drake Hokanson confess his life-long love affair with the sky. Using realms as varied as 19th century painting, aviation, music, ornithology, cloud spotting, and photography--plus a couple strange stories, Hokanson weaves a personal story of the universal and glorious realm above.

WSU is partaking in a photography / brush cutting / weenie and marshmallow roast event on Ledebuhr bluff on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m., and everyone is invited.
In the fall, many WSU students and Winona community members helped cut buckthorn and other invasives; this time MVC will bring chain saws to cut the big cedars that are shading out native "goat prairie" on the bluff sides. We'll cut more buckthorn, stack and burn...
