Big Man was feeling overwhelmed and cranky. The previous call night was a killer so I found a sitter for two and half hours and whisked him away to a movie. This might not sound like the best use of time, but I could see the evening ahead- him feeling like the kids were clawing at him and me feeling like I was running interference. Instead, I opted for bailing as many a stellar parent will do.

Members of the Winona State Wombats took home the top prize in the annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s “Stage Crew Showdown,” hosted this year in Ames, Iowa
One of the largest theatrical showdowns in the Midwest was won by a team of wombats.

Great River Shakespeare Festival: WWII Veterans Speak
Monday, June 21 at 6 p.m.
The Great River Shakespeare Festival will feature a panel discussion with local World War II veterans as well as conversation about its 2010 season plays, The Daly News, Othello, and The Comedy of Errors as part of its annual Community Forum this Monday, June 21st at 6:00PM in the Winona State University Performing Arts Center.
