I have to agree with Rebecca on this one. I signed up for a credit card a couple years ago to help establish my credit while I was in school. At the time, it seemed like a great idea. However, now I receive at least 4 credit card offers a week at my permanent address. I may be improving my credit but I'm not improving the junk mail. I think it would be extremely easier to receive credit card offers electronically. I also wouldn't feel guilty just clicking delete on my inbox. I try to reduce the amount of junk mail by selecting paperless billing from my bank and credit card company. By doing that I'm providing a little waste management, but I have no control over numerous credit card companies offering me credit cards that I just don't want or need. It's sad the amount of junk mail that these companies send out. I wonder the percentage of people signing up for these credit cards. Is the percentage worth this many trees? I think not.
I Agree
