By definition one of the aspects of sustainability is reuse, and that is not what tearing down old schools and building new ones is. The idea of comparing a school to Walmart is scary, I've never been in a class where a high student to faculty ratio was a good thing, it only hurts the education process. If our children are our future, then a greater priority needs to be placed on them and the education system as a whole.
