I really hate it when we have to close schools to save money and I get it that we are in an economical crisis, however, I feel that we have already cut so much from schools in general. It's really sad when they have to cut elementary schools though because these kids are our future and if we compromise of this future generation then we compromise on our future jobs and the decisions that these kids are going to make when they grow up that will affect each and every one of us. That also makes me think about how much of the chopping block that WSU is under right now if they are willing to close an elementary school down, how much are they going to make the students pay if we actually have the ability to pay for education? Makes me a little concerned about the future and what it holds especially if everyone is trying to save a buck or two here and there.
